Ancak giderek artan obezite oranlar\u0131, \u00f6zellikle \u00e7ocuklar aras\u0131nda ciddi bir halk sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 sorununa d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f durumda. D\u00fcnya Sa\u011fl\u0131k \u00d6rg\u00fct\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn (DS\u00d6) 2022 y\u0131l\u0131 verilerine g\u00f6re, d\u00fcnya genelinde 5 ya\u015f alt\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131k 37 milyon \u00e7ocuk a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kiloludur. 5-19 ya\u015f aras\u0131 grupta ise 390 milyondan fazla \u00e7ocuk ve ergen a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kilolu olup, bu grubun 160 milyonu obez olarak s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u00a0 T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de de benzer \u015fekilde, son y\u0131llarda \u00e7ocukluk \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 obezitesinde belirgin bir art\u0131\u015f g\u00f6zlemleniyor.
